Cloverdale

SCDC is advancing a master-planning initiative for the 120-acre Cloverdale Fairgrounds, a City-owned regional destination hosting over 700 events annually, including the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair. The site features a mix of civic, cultural, recreational, and commercial uses, ranging from aging facilities to newer, high-performing assets, and presents a significant opportunity for transit-oriented, phased redevelopment that balances community, economic, and housing objectives.

Cloverdale Fairgrounds Master Plan

SCDC is developing a long-term Master Plan to guide the future of the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. The Master Plan will establish a vision that celebrates this unique site while identifying opportunities to enhance the Fairgrounds as a vibrant, year-round destination for everyone.

The Fairgrounds have evolved significantly over the years and continue to play an important role in Surrey's identity. As Surrey grows, it is important to ensure that neighbourhood facilities continue to serve the needs of our communities.

We are in the planning phase. Public input is important as we move through planning into decision-making. Public input opportunities to shape the vision for the future of the Fairgrounds will take place over the summer and fall 2026.
