There are just a few basic steps you need to learn to be able to join in the dancing. For jigs and reels you wil learn the travelling step (or skip change) and the setting step (or pas-de-basque). In strathspey time there is also a travelling step and a setting step to learn.
The basic steps are easy to learn, although it may take some time to refine and perfect your steps. As long as you are having fun and getting your exercise the footwork will develop and improve! Click on the dancing feet for instructions.
